سورۃ الغاشية

• بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَٰشِيَةِ (1)
  Certainly the news of the calamity that will overwhelm has come to you!
• وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ (2)
  Many a face will be disgraced on that day.
• عَامِلَةٌۭ نَّاصِبَةٌۭ (3)
  Labouring, striving hard.
• تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةًۭ (4)
  (Yet) Going into the blazing fire.
• تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ اٰنِيَةٍۢ (5)
  Made to drink water from the boiling hot spring.
• لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍۢ (6)
  There is no food for them except thorns of fire.
• لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍۢ (7)
  Which neither give strength nor satisfy the hunger.
• وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاعِمَةٌۭ (8)
  Many a face will be in serenity on that day.
• لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌۭ (9)
  Rejoicing over their efforts.
• فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ (10)
  In a high Garden.
• لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةًۭ (11)
  In which they will not hear any lewd speech.
• فِيهَا عَيْنٌۭ جَارِيَةٌۭ (12)
  In it is a flowing spring.
• فِيهَا سُرُرٌۭ مَّرْفُوعَةٌۭ (13)
  In which are high thrones.
• وَأَكْوَابٌۭ مَّوْضُوعَةٌۭ (14)
  And chosen goblets.
• وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌۭ (15)
  And arranged carpets.
• وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ (16)
  And linen spread out.
• أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ (17)
  So do they not see the camel – how it has been created?
• وَإِلَى السَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ (18)
  And the heaven - how it has been raised?
• وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ (19)
  And the mountains - how they have been established?
• وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ (20)
  And the earth - how it has been spread out?
• فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌۭ (21)
  Therefore advise; indeed you are a proclaimer of advice. (The Holy Prophet is a Remembrance from Allah.)
• لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ (22)
  You are not at all a guardian over them.
• إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ (23)
  Except whoever turns away and disbelieves -
• فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ (24)
  So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment.
• إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ (25)
  Indeed only towards Us is their return
• ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم (26)
  Then indeed only upon Us is their reckoning.
