سورۃ

• بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِى خَلَقَ (1)
  Read with the name of your Lord Who created,
• خَلَقَ الْإِنسَٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ (2)
  Created man from a clot.
• اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ (3)
  Read, and your Lord only is the Most Beneficent,
• الَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ (4)
  The One Who taught to write with the pen.
• عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ (5)
  The One Who taught man all what he did not know.
• كَلَّآ إِنَّ الْإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطْغَىٰٓ (6)
  Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious.
• أَن رَّاٰهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰٓ (7)
  As he considers himself independent!
• إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعَىٰٓ (8)
  Indeed towards your Lord only is the return.
• أَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِى يَنْهَىٰ (9)
  What is your opinion – regarding him who forbids -
• عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ (10)
  A bondman when he offers the prayer?
• أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰٓ (11)
  What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance,
• أَوْ أَمَرَ بِالتَّقْوَىٰٓ (12)
  He would enjoin piety, so how good it would be!
• أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ (13)
  What is your opinion – if he denies and turns away, how wretched will be his state!
• أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَرَىٰ (14)
  Did he not realise that Allah is watching?
• كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًۢا بِالنَّاصِيَةِ (15)
  Yes certainly, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock.
• نَاصِيَةٍۢ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍۢ (16)
  A forelock that lies, is sinful.
• فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۥ (17)
  So let him now call his gang!
• سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَ (18)
  We will now call the guards!
• كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِب ۩ (19)
  Yes indeed; do not listen to him - and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14)
